Looking forward to a sober future

Before I started counselling I was on the very edge. I had been drinking heavily and was upsetting everyone around me.

It was all due to a previous ex or so I thought, but after seeing my counsellor Tracy she made me realise that I had not dealt with anything properly since the break up of my marriage.

My drinking went further back than that and I realised how it has controlled me, my life and the effects that it had.

When I first started counselling I was a wreck and still fighting my demons and now Tracy has said that I am a good place and I agree with her. I am looking forward to a sober future and I am in full control. Tracy is the one to thank for this, she has been my rock through the toughest period of my life.

If I didn’t see Tracy I think I would be a full blown alcoholic and I’d be lost for good. She is a credit to her profession and to yourselves.
